Observational Harm @ Revolt Daily

rocksRevolt Daily is a very cool site that has grown through some interesting mutations since conception. It began as SYW mag with Laramore Black at the helm. More recently, as Revolt, with cool cats such as Jonathan Riley turning the gears, the good times continue.

This week is their second birthday. They are posting up some stories in celebration, each on a different theme. The first theme is ‘history.’ Solarcide’s co-editor Martin Garrity, and his short story/fictional essay “Observational Harm,” were selected for the slot.

This story is just a bit of fun really, though the real message isn’t so deeply buried. It was written in a flash fiction match-up in the last LitReactor community war. This story came out in a last-minute-before-the-deadline-rush, and has only been tweaked a little since then. In Revolt’s anniversary bash, it has an excellent home.

Many thanks to anyone who reads it and many thanks to the team over at Revolt.

Keep rocking on and fighting the good fight.
